Is a compilation of sound art from the first recording in 1860 to work created yesterday. Sound art is a hybrid practice investigating silence, noise, ambient textures, appropriation, soundscapes, indeterminacy, narrative, and mashups encompassing intimate listening experiences, live multi-dimensional performances, sound sculptures and installations that expand and engage the non-visual aspects of perception.
